A NEW VISTA OF DEVELOPMENT FOR ONDO STATE!  Today, I took the oath of office as the 7th democratically elected Governor of Ondo State. With gratitude and a sense of duty, I reaffirm my commitment to the progress, prosperity, and well-being of our people.

In his message at the venue of the swearing, he promised to serve Ondo State people and make the state number one in Nigeria. 

Lucky Orimisan who was the deputy to the late governor Rotimi Akeredolu became acting governor after the death of his boss before contesting for the position of governor late 2025.
