Body of Christ or Syndicate of Sanctified Oppressors?
When the Mercy Chinwo vs. EeZee Conceptz debacle first surfaced, I made a bold statement:
Her husband was reckless and the unseen hand orchestrating this whole brouhaha.
I stood my ground then. I stand my ground now.
But, as expected, the congregation of blind allegiance came for my head, armed with religious sentiments and celebrity worship.
I shrugged.
You can't reason with those who mistake fanaticism for faith.
Now, with the recent revelations from VDM,
what do we see?
A calculated takedown. A well-oiled machinery set in motion to ensure EeZee Conceptz never breathes again.
And yet, these same people will raise their hands in worship on Sunday.
They call this the Body of Christ?
Even Jesus would rather sit this one out.
"You have bloggers; I have God."
Aha! So, the ‘God’ Mercy Chinwo was referring to was actually a network of power players, pulling strings from the high places.
So, we agree now God is not mocked, but His name can be weaponized for vendettas?
If politicians are known for pocketing the judiciary, should the so-called “Body of Christ” now be known for institutionalized oppression?
If there is no difference between power-hungry politicians and gospel industry overlords, what exactly makes you different from the world you claim to be separate from?
Let the hypocrisy breathe, but let’s not call it righteousness.
