From 700 to 18,000 Page Views in a Few Short Months

Page views. Why do those two words seem so important in the blogging and online business world? I feel like my Facebook groups are FULL of bloggers trying to figure out how to crack the page view code. How can some of these bloggers get over 1,000+ page views daily with hardly any effort? Sure, some of them are SEO experts, or they pay someone to SEO the crap out of their site so they can rank higher on Google. But what about those of us who don’t have hundreds of dollars to throw at resources like that? How do we get our page views up?

There are a few different ways
When I first decided to take my blog to the next level and start helping others market their businesses, I did a few pro-bono jobs. I really wanted to test out my strategies before I actually started charging people for my services. A VERY good friend of mine (and former college roommate) was my first test subject. I knew I wanted to create a eCourse to show how I got one of my clients sales from $5,000 a month to over $30,000 a month in less than 3 months. Obviously the strategies I was using worked butI wanted to see if someone else could easily follow them and have the same results.

If you follow my blog you know the love I have for Pinterest. LOTS OF LOVE! Why? Guys, it’s FREE ADVERTISING! FREE! My old roomie knew Pinterest for it’s crafty activities and delicious recipes, so when I asked her to test out my eCourse to see if she could get her page views up (which at the time were around 700 a month) she kind of laughed at me! BUT she agreed.


Guess what happened?

They went up, and up, and up.

In just FIVE months she went from just over 700 page views to OVER 18,000! How? PINTEREST! Now please don’t think this happened without any hard work on her part. She worked her little butt off writing articles, and creating pins, studying her analytics to see what was working and what wasn’t, testing out incentive after incentive to grow her email list. But she did it, and now that she has things rolling, she spends about an hour a day on her blog, sometimes less. She has FOUR KIDS guys! She is a busy woman!

Do your research
I am not telling you that my course is the best out there. Because there are SO MANYdifferent courses on how to utilize Pinterest, SO MANY. But not all of them are worth the money. DO YOUR RESEARCH! I spent a VERY LARGE amount of money on a course and 90% of the content was information I already knew. BIG BUMMER! Don’t pay for information you can find for free. You want to get valuable content, content that not only teaches you how to rock Pinterest but how to make money with your blog!

And Pinterest is SUCH an underestimated tool! So I want you to learn how to use it, because it will be so so beneficial to your blog!
